I remember going to a private bank with my father recently for an investment portfolio review.

When the portfolio tanked, the expatriate banker wouldn't return any of our calls but simply sent an email saying that market crashes do not affect long term investment portfolios.

When I did an investment simulation using the tools here, I had realized the exact opposite!

And I remember what my father said to me,"Most of the people who couldn't succeed in their own countries end up here, and suddenly they're paid well and promoted way above their abilities and bragging about how successful they are. I've never met so many incompetent foreigners in such senior positions anywhere in the world, like in Singapore."

And some people are saying the exact same thing about Dubai.
